One of my strength is that I was able to make sure my team completed the paperwork which was due in order to complete the pre production and the production plan. As the producer it was one of my jobs to make sure that the paper work was completed in order to do the production stage which means that the shooting process.

Another strength is we had to make sure that we had good communication within our team in order to complete our project to near professional standards.

Furthermore,I had felt that I let my team back when my production schedule(gant chart) was wrong because me and maya had decided on dates that were not realised at all, we found out that we had to improve after our feedback in regards to our production plan.So I had to re-do with realist dates.

During this whole process, my roles were producer, editor and animator. My main role was to be the producer, this involves being for responsibility to make sure that everything is done and to maintain to hire or but camera equipment or props.

I have to able to make sure that the project is on schedule which means that I am basically in control of the all of  the paper works, which was needed for pre production and the production plan. During the production stage, my role was to get all of the equipment and location booked out and to assist with the shooting production.


During the post production stage which is the editing process, we had decided to edit one each because we felt that it was good decision because it allowed us to develop some new skills, for example final cut pro and animation on photoshop.

My role as an editor was to edit the football ident,I had learn a new skills which was how to create animation on photoshop.One of my weakness is that I felt that I was behind in the animation because it took me longer to do because it had to learn through the process which could have made my team fall behind. However, as we had filmed our idents early,we had more time to edit.
Once I had edited the animation onto the video,I had to give it to Calvin as he had to put the ctk logo(brand identify) and use the software colour splash which was used.

When creating this suite of ident for ctk, after the project we were having a group meeting to see how everyone felt regarding the progress of the project. 
We had come up with some weaknesses for example the post production stage took longer than we thought because we were doing rotoscope, however we had to switch our idea to doing live action with animation.Thankfully as we had filmed of our idents we were able to.If we would had to rush the editing.

Furthermore, we had some strength when it came to creating this suite of ident,for example as we filmed all of our idents early we had more time to edit, which included  rough cut and final cut.Another strength was that it was successfully aimed at the target audience who are 15-19 prospective students.

As a group,we had to decided to give some feedback from the target audience because we felt this will be helpful as we can understand how the audience will respond to the suite of ident for ctk.

We showed the audience,our suite of ident and we asked for their honest feedback because we wanted to see how they felt.

As the target audience is 15-19 prospective students, we created the suite of idents which will promote ctk, we have used the brand identify (ctk logo) for the college which will be reflected in the content which is created by the college to put on the youtube channel.

In regards to this question, we asked the audience 'are the idents recognisable as a the suite of ident?''

We wanted to make sure that the idents were known as suite of ident because they are connected.


We got 2 responses from the audience who disagreed, we will use this result in order to improve our suite of ident if needed.

I am happy to see the answers because it means that the audience felt that they are idents which are fit for purpose.This means we have met the brief.






In regards to this question, we asked the audience 'what do you associate with the brand identify for the suite of ident?'

We were happy to see that the audience can understand what the brand identify which is the logo. Within the logo the colour scheme is purple which we have incorporated into the idents.


An question which we asked' are they recognisable as an ident?'

The purpose of this question was to find out if the audience would recognise the videos as idents. As this is a suite of ident we was happy to understand that 11 responses felt that they were idents. However, 3 response from the audience didn't feel that it was not an ident.



We asked the question in the survey, we asked what is your gender? 

As the target audience is both genders, we wanted to see who would watch it.


One of the questions we asked was what is your age?

The target audience is 15-19 years old of both gender who are based in SE London so we need to make sure that it suitable for the audience




We asked the audience this question because we wanted to see if they could connect the theme which is used within the suite of ident.

From this we discovered that 14 people felt that it worked.
The theme is diversity and lifestyle.

We are very concerned about this response, we will be using this result to help us understand how the overall audience may response to the suite of ident.

i.the success of the product

Overall this product was successful because we have met all the requirement which was set by the client.
As the target audience is 15-19 prospective students, we created the suite of idents which will promote ctk, we have used the brand identify (ctk logo) for the college which will be reflected in the content which is created by the college to put on the youtube channel; we will be creating continuity as we will using the same colour scheme/typography because this will mean the they are linked. 

With the creation of tone it is not only about the footage you see on screen but also the audio you hear because it is used to convey meaning with the style of music whether it is a jingle that represented that channel or a beat ,but the type of audio that is played will depend what the youtube channel is.   
When we created this suite of ident, one thing that we needed to do was consider the design such as typography, pace,density of information and brand identify.  
    
During our first meeting with the client , we had to negotiate with him because we felt creating an seasonal suite of ident would not be effective in promoting ctk to prospective student. Moreover,we discussed the plans to create 4 individual idents as a part of suite which have the same theme but use it differently. 
Now I feel this group decision was a good idea because it allowed for us to create an suite of ident which are creative and it doesn't look like an advert for ctk. If we did seasonal it might have looked like advert.

ii. the process of responding to their brief and working with the client

Reading a brief is all about creating or signing any type of brief ,you need to read throughout to make sure that everything is understood, if you are not sure you can ask the client for more detail.
When completing the brief, it is important that we consultation with the client as we are producing a product for them, we had to have communication and follow what the client wants ;this type of brief was very easy and clear to understand because it allowed us to follow and complete it to near professional standards.

During our first meeting with our client,David Pearson.We had spoken about  amendments to proposed final product for our suite of idents which the client wanted us to produce to promote CTK on digital platform to prospective students. 
When we spoken to the client, we had to negotiate with him because we felt creating an seasonal suite of ident would not be effective in promoting ctk to prospective student.Moreover,we discussed the plans to create 4 individual idents as a part of suite which would use the same theme but use it differently.

This is our production stage where will shoot our footage for the suite of ident,this will include taking cameras out to film. before we film we need to make sure that we have permission before shooting and decide what timing.We need to charge the equipment up such as camera and lighting.

Post Production
This is post production where will be editing the footage and creating a rough cut to show the client to see what if he wants any changes. We will shoot some contingent shots if needed.

iii. the effectiveness of your group organisation

As a group, we had to make sure that we had good communication skills between us to ensure that we had completed it a good professional standard so we decided to regularly update each other on the progress of the project.

During the post production stage, as a group we had decided to help each with the editing because we felt that this was useful in order to make sure that the idents have the same continuity and to include the visual style which is live action with animation which we planned to create.

During the process of filming (production), we had to discuss and have a clear schedule in regards to filming our 4 idents. We had decided to film over a two week process. We felt that this was very useful because we had to decide when and what we would filming on which days.

When were were reading the scenario from the brief  which was set by the client because it outlines all the requirement that are needed to complete this project which is to create a suite of ident to promote and brand christ the king.
During our first meeting with the client,we were able yo discuss with him any amendments and negotiate any changes that we felt that were right in order to complete this project. after this meeting we were able to plan our idents because we finally got to know what he wanted, so we set schedule which included deadline for each stage and when a job had to be done.

We were on track with our schedule, this allowed us to accomplish new skills such as I am going to the producer and one of the animator because we have decided to edit one ident because this will be more effectively to the editing process. I have learnt many skills such as communication and how to present to the client as we are working with an actual client who set the brief.

When we was creating this suite of ident,we needed to make sure that we was conveying a message to a non visual audience,you need to consider and make sure that the suite of ident has a clear message which suggests the theme and brand identify.
The pace and density of information of the suite of idents is useful because it allows the audience to understand the theme and brand identify of the channel.

I will need to write an risk assessment on the locations that we are going to be using to film our suite of ident because there is could be hazards that could end with one of the crew getting hurt so it is important to take photos of it so we can avoid it when it comes to filming.
